Catalonia Dec 2024

 December 2024 was a very good time to travel to Catalonia. Everyday sunshine and no rain.

We stayed 2 weeks and traveled with our Van "Gus the Bus".

First stop was Estartit. Oké village but we liked the surrounding nature and it's gravelpaths more.

Beautiful place to cycle especcially natural parc Montgri.

Next Stop was 2 days urban jungle hiking Girona and then to Cassá de la selva where we stayed 1 week.

Nice village only 16 km south of Girona and close to natural park Les Gavarres. Again awesome cycling with steep gravel climbs....oh yeah....

Last stop was Peralada, more north close to the border with France. Here we only stayed 1 night before returning home but that day i cycled through Reserva Natural Parcial de Sant Quirze de Colera with a coffee break in Llanca and back. Again more then fantastic steep gravel climbs and beautiful scenery.  

After that back to Belgium, back to work.
